How do I make an inquiry for custom made LED lighting, mass production or custom luminaire construction?

How much does custom made LED lighting cost?

The costs vary depending on the assembly service and quantity. Performance-related costs are incurred, for example, for soldering, cutting to size or mounting the assemblies. Depending on the shape and complexity of the luminaire, delivery costs may also vary. For a concrete offer, please contact our consultants.

How are the aluminum profile and the LED flex stripe cut to the desired size?

The LED flex stripe is adapted to the aluminum profile. The outer dimension of the aluminum profile excl. end caps is specified by you. The length of the LED flex stripe is adjusted accordingly to the available inner dimension in the aluminum profile and cut off at the separation points. The length of the LED flex stripe can only be a multiple of the separation point.

What IP protection class do I need for my custom made LED?

Depending on whether indoors or outdoors, under roof, in damp rooms or wet cells, a different IP protection class is required. In general, IP20 is sufficient for dry indoor areas. For damp indoor areas, a higher protection class is already required and for wet outdoor areas IP67 is needed. In this knowledge PDF you will get an overview of the different IP protection types.

Are the manufactured LED lights waterproof?

Depending on the application, a different IP protection class is required. We can currently produce custom made LED lighting with an IP67 protection class. For outdoor lighting concepts, we use a multi-stage full encapsulation process with PU encapsulation, and can thus guarantee optimal protection for the chip and electronics.

What is the maximum length that the LED flex stripes can be used in one piece?

That depends entirely on the properties of the selected flex stripe. ISOLED® offers a huge range of different LED flex stripes from which you can choose. With the constant-current series, for example, light lines up to 15 meters long are possible with just one feed.

What is the maximum length that the LED aluminium profile can be used in one piece?

The majority of our LED profiles have a standard dimension of 2 meters. Some profiles reach 3 meters. If you are interested in LED OEM series production, continuous LED aluminum profiles up to 6 meters are possible.

Can the light points from the LED flex stripe be seen or can a homogeneous linear light be produced?

We offer a wide range of LED flex stripes for various applications, from ready-to-install LED living room or bathroom lighting, LED effect lighting or even outdoor architectural lighting. Many of our LED flex stripes have a very high chip density - so homogeneous linear light lines can be achieved even in combination with low aluminum profiles.

How can the corners of the LED flex stripes be assembled?

For example, in order to get linear lines of light around the corners of custom made living room lighting, we use space-saving connecting cables (soldering or with clip connectors). Also available are solder corner connectors and "luminous" solder corner connectors.

PROFESSIONAL SOLDERING

Soldering and connecting with connection cables:

Flex stripes are cut according to the desired dimensions at the point of separation, precisely soldered to the selected / required connection cables and professionally insulated and secured with shrink tubing.
for a plug-in solution we recommend selecting connection cables with plug-in system (e.g. Mini-AMP, Mini-Plug) from our assortment.
For products with IP protection, the final restoration of tightness is mandatory and is of course carried out competently and reliably.

ASSEMBLY OF LED ALU PROFILES - LED PROFILES MADE TO MEASURE

Our LED profiles and covers have a standard length of 2m (up to 5.5m depending on the item).

Our assembly service for LED aluminum profiles, covers and aluminum cooling strips includes:

the precise cutting according to the specified dimensions (also miter cuts from 15° to 135°),
the deburring of the cut surfaces,
drilling the profiles according to specifications,
clicking together the aluminum profiles and the covers,
the nesting of the profile with the cable lock (in case of compatibility),
attaching the end caps,
as well as threading in the wire suspension.

PREMIUM PUR FULL ENCAPSULATION - LED LIGHT STRIPES MADE TO MEASURE WITH IP67 PROTECTION

On request, we can assemble any aluminum profile with LED flex stripe and cabling (up to an aluminum profile length of 5.5 m) in a multi-stage waterproof potting process. Therefore, linear LED light lines can be used safely and waterproof in wet rooms, wet cells or outdoor areas. Advantages are:
