The EU directive ROHS (Restriction of the use of certain Hazardous Substances in electrical and electronic Equipment) will put an end to T8 and T5 fluorescent tubes in summer 2023. Although the use of mercury in electronic equipment had already been banned, exceptions had previously been made for T5 and T8 fluorescent tubes and compact fluorescent lamps without ballasts. The ban now opens up the opportunity for companies to switch to energy- and cost-efficient LED lighting. Magnetic or glue-in: Rigid LED retrofit circuit board
A conceivably simple way to replace a luminaire body that previously contained a fluorescent tube. The retrofit circuit board is available with approx. 55 cm, 85 cm, 115 cm and 145 cm and can be individually shortened every 5 cm.
