LED CLOSET LIGHTING - HOW TO ENSURE THE RIGHT ILLUMINATION
Unlike living spaces in the house, wardrobe spaces and walk-in closets rarely have natural light. Basic lighting is therefore particularly important for these applications. This can be achieved, for example, with cabinet surface-mounted luminaires and interior cabinet luminaires.
PLANNING THE LED WARDROBE LIGHTING
Neutral white luminaires with a high color rendering index (CRI) are ideal for closet lighting. This ensures that clothes appear particularly true to color and makes selection easier. If the lighting is also intended to serve other purposes like for example functioning as part of the general bedroom lighting, dynamic white light options are also available - in combination with dimmers, you can use them to create an individual ambience that is adapted to the time of day and the mood.
Particularly convenient is a built-in contact sensor that automatically switches the light on and off when the doors are opened. For walk-in closets, a motion sensor can be installed for this purpose.
