Funding opportunities not only differ greatly at national level between Germany, Austria and Switzerland, but also between the individual federal states and even municipalities. It is therefore not possible to give a general answer as to which funding is available for your project. However, we will be happy to advise you on the funding opportunities for your specific project.
Austria
National funding for energy-efficient LED lighting concepts for indoor and outdoor facilities in Austria is reviewed and awarded by Kommunalkredit Austria AG. (www.kommunalkreditinvest.at)
In addition, there are subsidies from the federal provinces, such as the Tyrol climate subsidy, which can help relieve the financial burden of investing in LED lighting solutions. More can be found at www.umweltfoerderung.at/landesfoerderungen.html
Sports clubs in Austria also find support in their provincial and federal associations as well as in their home communities.

Germany
The German Federal Ministry for the Environment (BMU – www.bmu.de) ffers financial support for investment in sustainable LED lighting solutions not only to businesses but also to sports clubs through its large funding programme within the framework of the national climate protection initiative.
Further subsidies are granted at the level of the federal states. For example, the federal state of Bavaria supports financially weak communities in particular in the construction or modernisation of sports facilities.
Depending on the type of sport and division, clubs can also contact the regional state and national federations and ask for individual subsidies.

Switzerland
Support programme for the refurbishment of lighting in sports facilities:
effeSPORT is a national promotion programme of the professional association of the lighting industry FVB for the refurbishment of the lighting of sports facilities.
The replacement of conventional, high-performance light sources with LEDs is compensated with an amount of CHF 70 to 350 per luminaire.
